The 215th board meeting of Noida Authority was chaired by Chief Secretary and Chairman Manoj Kumar Singh. Many important decisions were taken for flat buyers in this meeting.

New Rule

Officials of Noida Authority said that an important decision has been taken in the meeting under Section 13 of RERA Act 2016. Under the new rule, when the flat buyer pays 10 percent of the total price of the flat to the builder, then the builder has to pay the stamp duty as per the value of the property and register the agreement.

CEO Dr. Lokesh M said that after the occupancy certificate is issued, the builder will have to submit a copy of the registered agreement along with the list of flat buyers. After this, the authority will prepare a tripartite sub-lease document between the builder and the flat buyer, which will be registered in the sub-registrar office with
stamp duty.
