Officials have inspected UPAVP Siddharth Vihar to open a satellite centre of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Ghaziabad. Sources say that officers are liking this location too. Housing and Development Council officials also want the AIIMS centre to be opened in Uttar Pradesh UPAVP(Uttar Pradesh Avas Vikas Parishad) Siddharth Vihar scheme. The required 12 acres of land has also been identified for this.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has laid the foundation stone of AIIMS satellite center in Ghaziabad in the month of September at Ghantaghar Ramlila Maidan. This project will provide a big boost to Ghaziabad in the field of employment. Many employment opportunities will be created around the center and economic development will accelerate in the region.

The entire West UP will get the benefit of AIIMS satellite centre. With the establishment of AIIMS centre in Ghaziabad, one will not have to rush to Delhi to get modern medical services and consultation from experienced doctors and at the same time the load of patients on AIIMS Delhi will also be reduced. Extremely serious patients will be sent to the satellite centre AIIMS, Delhi. The biggest benefit will be of OPD services.
